- Send newsletters, surveys, and event invitations: We contact volunteers with updates on our work and the impact we make. We only keep information if we really need it, we usually keep it for 6 years once you have finished with the service and we look after that information carefully.

When entering a date for DBS Clearance Notification has been checked, you are verifying the contents have been checked and a risk assessment has been undertaken if necessary. 

The date the risk assessment has been signed off should be entered against the DBS Risk Assessment completed field. A copy of the Risk Assessment should retained in the Volunteer's media records.
